About the role

As a Mechanic at 1800BUGGIES', you will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing a fleet of buggies, and All Terrain vehicles. This full-time position is based in Seventeen Mile Rocks, QLD 4073 and offers the opportunity to work in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.

What you'll be doing

Diagnose and repair a variety of mechanical issues with buggies

Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections

Collaborate with the service team to ensure efficient and timely completion of work orders

Maintain detailed records of all repairs and service work

Adhere to all safety protocols and best practices when working on equipment

Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies

Assist with buggy deliveries and logistics

Prepping and detail buggies

Opportunity to travel interstate to assist with major events, and support our other depots across the nation

What we're looking for

Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology or equivalent qualification

Minimum 2 years' experience as a mechanic, preferably in the agricultural small vehicle industry

Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills

Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure

Good communication and customer service skills

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Fork lift and HR licence beneficial
