About the role

KJ Morris Constructions is seeking a Qualified Carpenter to join our team in Echuca/Moama. This is a full-time position that will see you play a key role in our construction projects, utilising your expertise in carpentry to produce a high standard of work and quality finishes across both residential and commercial projects.

What you'll be doing

Undertake a variety of carpentry tasks, including but not limited to framing, cladding, fix-outs and site installs of projects.

Read and interpret plans and specifications to ensure work is completed to the required standards.

Work within our team to ensure projects are delivered on time and to the highest quality.

Maintain a enjoyable, safe and tidy work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.

What we're looking for

Formal qualification in carpentry, such as a Certificate III in Carpentry

Minimum 2 years' experience as a qualified carpenter, preferably in the construction industry

Attention to detail and the ability to read and interpret plans

Problem-solving and critical thinking skills to work towards a solution

Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Punctual, organised and professional
