About the Role
We are seeking a creative and motivated Part-Time Marketing Officer to help share our story, promote our programs and events, and strengthen community engagement. This role is ideal for someone with strong digital and communication skills who wants to make a positive difference in the community.
You will be responsible for managing our brand and visuals, our online and digital presence and delivering effective, low-cost marketing campaigns that increase awareness of our services and encourage participation.
You will also be supporting some of our administration duties.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
Manage our branding and marketing collaterals, ensuring a consistent visual presentation of our organisation
Manage social media platforms, website content and updates, and e-newsletters.
Create engaging content (graphics, photos, short videos, stories) that reflect our organisation and community.
Support the promotion of events, workshops, and programs.
Monitor engagement and provide simple reporting on marketing outcomes.
Work closely with staff and volunteers to ensure consistent messaging
Provide general office administrative support, such as reception duties, data entry, managing office supplies etc
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
Friendly, creative, resourceful, and confident in trying new ideas.
Experienced in social media, content creation, graphic design and digital marketing tools (e.g. Canva, Mailchimp, Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics).
Able to communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences, including culturally diverse communities.
Organised and able to manage multiple priorities independently.
Aligned with our values of inclusion, respect, and community connection.
Desirable but not essential:
Experience working in the not-for-profit or community sector.
Proficient in a second language
Experience in an office administration, reception or customer service role
