Basic Rigger / Material Handler - Perth based Workshop - Day Shift - Immediate Start

Our client, a leading manufacture of conveyor components for the mining industry is looking for Rigger / Materials Handler to join their team. Based in Bayswater, the workshop runs a clean, modern facility with a strong focus on lean manufacturing, safety and precision.

What’s on Offer:

Day Shift - 6:00am - 2:30pm + Overtime

$40.13 per hour + Super + Penalties

OT 1 - 1.5x base rate

OT 2 - 2x base rate

Ongoing work with the opportunity for permanent employment

What we’re looking for:

Previous experience in a material handling in a manufacturing / production environment is essential

Current forklift license is essential

Experience operating 16 T forklift is essential

Dogging and or Rigging tickets highly desirable

Experience with gantry cranes

Key Responsibilities:

Safely move and manage materials within the workshop

%70 moving materials with gantry crane and manual handling

%30 Forklift operations

Load and unload materials from production areas and storage locations

Load and unload trucks

Assist with operation, packing, and other hands-on production tasks when required
