We are looking for a full-time, permanent Senior Speech Pathologist to lead our clinical team. Speechling is primarily a clinic-based service.

Role and Responsibilities

Lead and support our small therapy team to provide evidence-based clinical services

Provide assessment and therapy to clients in the clinic or via Telehealth

Manage client onboarding

Attend weekly team meetings to discuss client cases and engage in professional development

Collaborate with key stakeholders and external health professionals

Occasionally visit clients in the community

Complete documentation in a timely manner (e.g. progress notes, reports, letters)

Essential Criteria

5+ years experience as a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist

SPA membership

Current Working With Children Check

National Police Check

Full Australian Working Rights

Eligibility for Medicare Provider Status

Professional indemnity and public liability insurance

Ability to work independently and seek clinical guidance as needed for safe and quality practice

Organisation and time-management skills

Effective written and verbal communication skills

Demonstrated knowledge of the principles of evidence based practice

Commitment to professional development

Desired Criteria

Experience working with the NDIS

Experience in supervising junior staff and/or students

Experience or interest in working with (external) multidisciplinary teams
