In this role, you will be responsible for caring for primary school-aged children within a dedicated space. The centre strives to provide a holistic program that fosters children’s growth and development in a nurturing, natural environment.

The Role

As an Assistant Coordinator, your passion for childcare will shine through in your compassionate, friendly approach to interacting with children. You will be responsible for:

With a genuine passion for childcare, you will be compassionate, approachable, and skilled at interacting with children in a positive, effective manner. Your key responsibilities will include:

Acting as the responsible person for the service, ensuring all operations run smoothly.

Providing a safe and supportive OSHC environment for children and staff.

Managing attendance records and casual booking schedules to ensure child safety and proper supervision.

Overseeing and supporting other educators to ensure they understand and fulfill their responsibilities.

Assisting with the development and implementation of creative, educational programs, along with maintaining observations and reflection journals.

Creating opportunities to share children’s experiences with families and celebrate their engagement in programs.

Building and maintaining strong relationships with families and the wider school community.

3 hours of Administration time.

This is a permanent, part-time position offering 33 hours per week Monday to Friday split shifts BSC & ASC, Term Time Only.

About You

To be considered for this role, you should have:

• A qualification in Child Education and Care (or be working towards one).
• Previous experience in Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) in a similar role.
• A certificate in CHCPRT025 Identify & Report Children & Young People at Risk
• Current First Aid certification in HLTAID012
• A valid NSW Working with Children Check.
