About the Role:

As a Welder at Century Engineering, you will:

Interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

Utilise specialised tools like welding machines and cutting torches.

Collaborate with teams to ensure timely, high-quality project delivery.

Uphold safety standards and maintain an organised workspace.

Carry out high end welding in multiple positions to a very high-quality standard.

Shift Hours;

Day; 7.00 am to 3.06pm

Afternoon; 3:00pm to 11:06pm

What We’re Looking For:

Proficiency in reading and fabricating from engineering drawings.

Ability to read understand and comply with Welding Procedure Specifications.

Strong welding skills with the ability to work to tight tolerances and proficiency with AS1554.5 and defence codes a bonus.

Experience in MIG, TIG, FCAW, MCAW (proficiency with Metal cored process a major bonus due to this being our main process for defence contracts).

Ability to self-inspect work to the relevant code and hold yourself to a high standard.

Commitment to safety and teamwork.

Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

Strong time keeping abilities.

Excellent communication skills.

Must be in Australia and have the right to work full time.

Candidates must pass a pre-qualification weld test and demonstrate competence in interpreting technical drawings.
