About the Role

We are seeking a full-time Painter to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and painting a variety of surfaces, ensuring high standards of workmanship, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling cracks, and applying primers.

Apply paints, stains, and coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.

Mix and match paint colours according to specifications.

Work with various surfaces, including timber, metal, and masonry.

Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards.

Perform touch-ups and final inspections to ensure a flawless finish.

Skills & Experience Required:

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as a Painter.

Proficiency in using various painting tools and techniques.

Ability to read and interpret project specifications.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Physical fitness and ability to work at heights, if required.

Qualifications & Licenses:

Certificate III in Painting and Decorating (preferred but not essential).

Working at Heights certification (preferred but not essential).
