Role Description:
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a casual on-site role located in Miami, QLD. The Warehouse / Metal Finisher / Assembly / Driver will work within our packing and assembly team to complete metal Quality Control Inspections and all detailing & grinding tasks, warehousing & delivery driving under the guidance of senior tradesmen and supervisors. Tasks will include the use of hand and power tools, griding and metalworking, forklift driving & truck deliveries of our product to and from external vendors and clients.

As our Warehouse / Metal Finisher / Assembly / Driver, you will be fully trained by our Quality Manager and you will be responsible for efficiently turning metal assembly parts into finished products and read and interpret engineering diagrams.

This is an entry level position, and would be well suited to someone looking to get into the Marine Industry!

Hours:

Our business hours range from 6am - 4:00pm Monday to Thursday (Closed on Fridays)

About You:

Ability to work in a team and follow instructions under the guidance of senior tradesmen and supervisors

Self starter with strong levels of initiative

Over the age of 25 with an open Australian Drivers License is essential.

Willingness to learn, and a passion for engineering and manufacturing is a plus

Experience in operating hand tools and power tools is an advantage but not essential

Excellent communication and team player skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong attention to detail and ability to read engineering drawings

Deliver projects on time with high quality

A strong commitment to safety in the workplace

Maintain respect and strong ethics

Essential Requirements:

Keen interest in hands-on work and manual tasks is preferred

Forklift License

Open Australian Drivers License & Over the age of 25
