About the role

OnSite Recruitment is seeking an experienced MR Truck Driver (manual)/Removalist to join our client's team in Clayton, VIC. In this casual role, you will be responsible for operating a medium rigid truck and completing tasks in the Removalist and Relocation industry. The position offers flexibility and great work-life balance, and the opportunity to work with a great bunch of people!

What you'll be doing

Safely operate a medium rigid truck (manual) to transport furniture and goods.

Assist in the packaging, wrapping and safe moving of household and office furniture and goods.

Operate power and hand tools to disassemble and reassemble furniture.

Provide exceptional customer service to customers and clients.

Maintain accurate documentation and logs.

Contribute to the overall efficiency of the removalist operations.

What we're looking for

Medium Rigid (MR) truck licence - ability to drive manual will be required.

Experience operating medium rigid vehicles, preferably in a labouring role.

The ability to safely lift and carry heavy (up to 30kg when shared) items repetitively.

Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the team.

Strong time management and organisational abilities.

Commitment to safety and a clean driving record.

Required to get started

Candidate must provide a VicRoads Traffic History report.

Candidate must provide a National Police Check.

Willing to undergo pre-employment drug & alcohol screening.

Willing to undergo pre-employment physical assessment screening.
