· An innovative problem solver, able to identify emerging trends and issues to effectively address the developmental needs of young people 12-25
· Committed to continual improvement of youth engagement initiatives
· A dynamic team player, adept at working within both the Council environment and direct program delivery with young people
Operationally the position supports the organisation in:
· Implementation and evaluation of Council’s Youth Strategy
· Ensuring young people 12-25 years have access to high quality, age-appropriate activities and programs
· Connecting community, young people and the youth sector
Please note, as this role does involve direct delivery of youth programs some out of hours work is required, once or twice a month on average.
