We're looking for a detail-oriented and experienced AO3 Revenue Officer to join a busy government team in Brisbane City. If you have a strong background in financial administration and enjoy working with numbers, systems, and processes, this could be the perfect fit for you.

About the Role:
As an AO3 Administered Revenue Officer, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring everything adds up. Your day-to-day tasks will involve reconciling accounts, processing financial transactions, and keeping systems up to date with client details. You'll work with different financial software to ensure everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and reconcile financial records with a high degree of accuracy
- Handle accounts receivable and payable tasks, ensuring all payments and invoices are processed correctly
- Use tools like Microsoft Excel to develop and maintain spreadsheets, and apply basic formulas/functions as needed
- Navigate multiple financial and client systems (knowledge of SAP is a bonus, but not required)
- Communicate clearly and professionally with both internal teams and external clients
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve processes and resolve any discrepancies that may arise
What We're Looking For:
- At least 2 years' experience in a financial or administrative role, particularly in accounts receivable or payable
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to process large volumes of work without compromising accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and maintain spreadsheets using basic formulas and functions
- Experience with financial systems - SAP experience is desirable, but not a must-have
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
- A strong sense of responsibility and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
Qualifications & Experience:
- A relevant qualification in Financial Services or similar would be highly regarded
- Experience in a government or public sector role is a plus, but not essential
