We are recruiting a Finance & Compliance Manager for a newly created role. You'll lead financial oversight and governance for high-impact community investment programs.

About the Role

• In this role, you will be responsible for financial management, compliance, and program governance.
• Lead the design and delivery of funding programs aligned with policy and regulatory requirements
• Manage budgets, monitor expenditure, and provide accurate forecasting and financial reporting
• Ensure full compliance with relevant frameworks, standards, and internal controls
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure program success
• Provide strategic financial advice and risk analysis to executives and senior leadership
• Prepare briefings, reports, and other governance documentation as required

About You

• To be successful, you must have experience in a similar finance and compliance-focused role.
• Tertiary qualifications or equivalent professional experience in finance, accounting, or related field
• Strong understanding of budgeting, financial controls, and compliance within complex organisations
• Demonstrated experience in grant or program financial management
• Ability to engage and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders
• Understanding of issues impacting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, with the ability to communicate sensitively
