Last year, Resource Recovery Australia delivered the following amazing results:
12,252 tonnes of waste diverted from landfill.
209 job opportunities created, with over 68% of our team experiencing barriers to work when they commenced employment.
Provided 4069 training and development outcomes.
About the role
You'll be leading the operations from a retail and leadership perspective for our re-use shop within the waste management facility. With a focus on bringing out the best in your team through offering training and support, your aim will be to help people learn more about great retail practices with a passion for reuse and repurpose as well as leading the way with safety.
This role will require the ability to work alongside City of Darwin Council to deliver our contractual obligations whilst giving back to the environment and community.

About you
You are an individual with an endless amount of passion for people and environment whilst bringing sound commercial and management practices. This passion is core to the role.
You will offer the following experience and knowledge:
Experience/Skills and Knowledge
Minimum of 2 years providing operational direction and leadership with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
Experience in retail including customer service and merchandising.
Ability to lead with kindness, encouragement, and positive reinforcement that empowers your team to grow in confidence.
Experience in driving company objectives through engagement of various key internal and external stakeholders including employees and customers.
Working to provide great environmental and social outcomes.
Strong written and verbal communication.
Qualifications
You will ideally hold or be able to attain:
Injury Management and Return to Work Training Program
First Aid and CPR
Forklift Licence
