About the role

Join our friendly and professional team as a Dental Chairside Assistant at Dr Gavin J Mitchell's practice in Tweed Heads South, NSW. In this casual role, you will play a vital part in supporting our dentists and ensuring our patients receive the high-quality care.

What you'll be doing

Assist the dentist during procedures by passing instruments, suctioning, and managing the patient's comfort

Sterilise and prepare dental instruments and equipment

Greet and check in patients, and escort them to the treatment rooms

Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

Ensure the clinical area is clean, stocked, and organised at all times

Provide exceptional customer service to our valued patients

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and the dental team

Attention to detail and the ability to multitask.

Commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and workplace safety

Flexibility to work a casual schedule, including some Saturdays.
