About the Role
We are a boutique firm specialising in employment law and personal injury matters, with an opening for a legal secretary & typist to join our team at our busy Adelaide CBD office. In this role, you will be providing support to a welcoming and supportive team of lawyers.
Key Responsibilities
Audio-typing/Dictaphone typing
Transcribing and drafting files and legal documents
Diary management
Prepare documents and attend to routine correspondence
Maintain filing, including monitoring and follow-up of all correspondence using appropriate data base systems
Manage incoming calls and visitors
Information management i.e. excel spreadsheets, practice management system (Open Practice)
Undertake other duties as required relating to the requirements of the operational area, including relieving reception duties
Ensure services are completed in a timely and professional manner
About You
An ideal candidate for this role will be a highly organised professional with the ability to work independently.
Key Skills
Experience as a Legal Secretary
Typing speed of 60+ WPM
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Outlook & Excel)
Remuneration will be commensurate with experience.
