The Opportunity

We are seeking experienced SAP ABAP Developers to join a major ICT transformation and sustainment program. This role is central to ensuring reliable systems, secure data, and compliant delivery across enterprise environments.

In this role, you’ll design, develop, and maintain SAP ABAP components, working within a multi-disciplinary program team. Previous Defence experience is highly desired, as is the ability to deliver effectively in secure, complex programs.

Key responsibilities include:

• Deliver ABAP development in support of large-scale SAP systems
• Design, build, test, and deploy SAP customisations and enhancements
• Develop and maintain interfaces (OData API, SAP UI5, SAP Fiori, Web Dynpro)
• Collaborate with functional analysts, testers, and integration teams to ensure robust solutions
• Prepare technical documentation and support system assurance activities

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Proven experience as an SAP ABAP Developer in large-scale programs
• Strong technical knowledge across ABAP, OData API, SAP UI5, SAP Fiori, Web Dynpro
• Previous Defence experience highly desired
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Australian Citizenship is essential
