Casual Disability Support Workers (Residential)
At ConnectGV, we’re connected; to our people, to our community, and to the individuals we support across the Goulburn Valley. We are seeking Casual Disability Support Workers to join our residential team and provide person-centred support that makes a real difference.
About the Role
As a Disability Support Worker with ConnectGV, you will:
- Provide individualised support to residents in line with their personal goals and support plans.
- Assist with daily living tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, transport, medication support, and community participation.
- Work across a variety of shifts, including sleepovers, active nights, weekends and public holidays, to ensure 24/7 support coverage.
- Safeguard the rights, dignity, and wellbeing of the people we support.
- Contribute to a safe, respectful, and inclusive home environment.
About You
We are looking for people who are:
- Compassionate, reliable, and committed to supporting others.
- Flexible and available to work a mix of day, evening, overnight (sleepover & active nights) and weekend shifts.
- Team players who can also work independently.
- Confident in assisting with personal care and health support (training provided where required).
- Able to communicate clearly and build positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
Qualifications & Experience
- Qualification in Disability, Individual Support, Community or Health Services (or other relevant field) – desirable, but not essential.
- Experience in the disability, community, health or aged care sector.
- Current Driver’s Licence.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Employee Working with Children check
- National Criminal History Check (Police check)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Current First Aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)
