CVGT Employment is entering an exciting new chapter in employment services. With the current Disability Employment Services (DES) program concluding at the end of October, we are preparing for a significant transition to the new Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) program. This change represents an important evolution in how we empower people with disability, injury, or health conditions to find meaningful and sustainable employment.

What You’ll Do

As an Employment Consultant, you’ll play a hands-on role in guiding participants through every stage of their employment journey. You’ll be the bridge between potential and possibility - helping individuals overcome barriers, discover their strengths, and secure meaningful, long term employment.

You’ll continue delivering impactful support under the DES program, before transitioning into the new IEA program, where your work will contribute to shaping inclusive and sustainable employment outcomes.

  • Caseload Management: Manage participant caseloads with care and efficiency, ensuring person-centred support throughout the employment journey.
  • Engage & Coach: Build strong relationships with participants, understand their goals, and deliver tailored coaching to enhance confidence and address employment barriers.
  • Connect with Employers: Link participants with suitable job opportunities and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with employers.
  • Support Employment Outcomes: Deliver post-placement support to help secure long-term employment success, while managing claims.
  • Program Compliance: Maintain accurate records and uphold compliance standards to support high-quality contract-aligned outcomes and performance goals.

What You Bring

A background in employment services, training, or recruitment is desirable, but not essential. We’re looking for someone who brings the right mindset and strengths across the following areas:

  • Empathetic Coaching: Apply a strengths-based, emotionally intelligent approach to guide participants toward employment.
  • Relationship Building: Skilled in developing trust-based connections and adapting communication styles with empathy and professionalism.
  • Organised & Adaptable: Manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment, balancing administrative demands with people-centred service delivery.
  • Tech Savvy: Confident with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and digital tools.
  • Pre-Requisites: Full eligibility to work in Australia, with the ability to obtain a National Police Check, Working with Children Check, and/or Vulnerable Persons Check.

What’s In It for You

  • Salary Packaging – Maximise your take-home pay with flexible options.
  • Extra Leave Benefits – Enjoy additional time off to recharge and thrive.
  • Wellbeing Support – Access to our Employee Assistance Program and Perkbox benefits.
  • Professional Growth – Ongoing training, development, and career progression.
  • Inclusive Culture – Proudly recognised as a Diversity Council of Australia Inclusive Employer, 2023–2024.
