We’re looking for a hands-on Assistant Restaurant Manager to join the leadership team at At the Heads – a brand-new, beautifully renovated restaurant and kiosk sitting right on the Barwon Heads jetty. With the ocean on your doorstep, we bring together casual dining done well with a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere that makes the most of our iconic coastal location.

Re-opening October, this is an exciting opportunity to step into a leadership role from day one and help shape the guest experience at one of the region’s most anticipated re-openings.

As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you’ll:

Lead shifts on the floor, working closely with the Restaurant Manager

Support and inspire the team to deliver high-quality, relaxed dining

Open and close the venue with confidence and consistency

Keep calm under pressure and bring a detail-oriented approach to service

What we’re looking for:

2–3 years’ experience as an Assistant Manager or strong Supervisor ready to step up

Current RSA

Hands-on leadership style with a focus on teamwork and guest experience

Calm, professional, and detail-focused
