The Director of four successful Melbourne venues is seeking to appoint an exceptional assistant manager for our Point Cook location.

About the Role

As an Assistant Manager, you’ll play a central role in leading the day to day operations of our Point Cook venue. From inspiring your team to delivering exceptional customer experiences, you’ll bring energy, initiative, and a hands-on approach to every aspect of the business.

Job role

Your responsibilities will include assisting the venue manager in the following duties;

Setting and maintaining a high level of customer service while following our current systems and procedures to a high standard

Controlling operational costs and promoting efficiency

Coordinating and managing the front of house staff and leading an energetic team to deliver high quality service to guests

Recruit, coach and mentor new employees including staff performance reviews and creating a strong team culture

Workplace compliance including Health and Safety, RSA, Award compliance

Support Local Area Marketing strategies to increase business

Demonstrate a strong ability to meet company KPIs

Who we are looking for:

Previous Assistant Restaurant Manager or Restaurant Supervisor experience essential;

Excellent people management skills;

We are looking for someone with initiative and drive with an emphasis on outstanding customer service who thrives on a fast paced environment

A professional and hands on approach with a willingness to learn and develop;

Commitment to achieving outstanding results in all areas of the business

Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends and public holidays
