Due to a growing workload, we’re now seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in Revesby, Sydney. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to take ownership of design projects that directly support our manufacturing operations and customer success.

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a critical role in turning client requirements into high-quality engineered solutions. Working closely with our Sales, Operations, and Factory teams, you’ll be responsible for ensuring designs are accurate, practical, and manufacturable.

You’ll be part of a collaborative engineering team, reporting to the Senior Mechanical Engineer, and contributing directly to CST’s reputation for delivering reliable, cutting-edge systems.

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years’ experience in mechanical design, ideally in a manufacturing or heavy engineering environment.
• Strong CAD skills (Inventor preferred).
• Proven ability to produce accurate, detailed fabrication and assembly drawings.
• Practical understanding of manufacturing processes (fabrication, machining, assembly).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Interest in continuous improvement and automation initiatives.
• Demonstrated interest and passion for mechanical systems, e.g. hobbyist car or bike mechanic
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
