The Cathedral School invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and registered teachers for inclusion in our pool of Casual Relief Teachers for primary year levels.

Position Overview:
Casual Relief Teachers play a vital role in ensuring the continuity of teaching and learning in the absence of regular classroom teachers. You’ll deliver engaging lessons, foster a positive classroom environment, and support students’ academic and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver curriculum-aligned lessons across a range of primary year levels.
• Maintain effective classroom management and student engagement.
• Uphold school policies and procedures.
• Contribute positively to the school community.

Essential Criteria:

• Current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers.
• Recognised teaching qualification suitable for primary education.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Desirable Attributes:

• Recent classroom teaching experience.
• Familiarity with contemporary teaching practices and digital learning tools.
