About Us

Skippy Skips is a locally owned skip bin company, proudly servicing Townsville and surrounding areas. We’re looking for a reliable Skip Truck Driver to join our team on a casual/relief basis, covering regular shifts and holiday relief.

The Role

Drive skip bin trucks safely and efficiently across Townsville.

Deliver, collect, & dispose of bin contents from job site to waste disposal areas.

Assist with general yard duties when required.

Hours range from 8 to 30 per week depending on workload.

Shifts are generally Monday to Friday, with some overtime during peak periods (penalty rates apply).

Full training and induction provided.

What You’ll Do

Complete daily vehicle checks and maintain truck cleanliness.

Follow all safe work practices and procedures.

Provide friendly, professional customer service.

Handle some physical duties as part of the job.

About You

Licence: Current HR or MR licence (required).

Experience: Previous skip truck or waste industry experience preferred.

Local knowledge: Must live in Townsville with good area awareness.
