Our Moorabbin store is a family-owned business, looking for a detail-focused part-time Embroidery Machine Operator to join our supportive team. We are also open to hiring this as a full-time role for the right person.

About You

You’ll thrive in a busy environment and take pride in producing products people love to wear.

Your Day-to-Day Will Include:

Operating embroidery machines and direct-to-film heat press to decorate garments, hats, bags and more

Setting up and adjusting designs using embroidery software (training will be provided)

Preparing garments, selecting threads, and framing for stitching

Managing orders and deadlines efficiently

Communicating with customers to confirm their design needs

Maintaining a tidy workspace and keeping machines running smoothly

Supporting our sales team with covering the shop floor when needed

What We’re Looking For:

Detail-oriented and quick to fix things that aren’t quite right

Experience in sewing and/or clothing alterations is highly regarded

Comfortable using computers and willing to learn new software

A sharp eye for detail and strong organisational skills

Willingness to learn and take direction

Have an interest in textiles, design, or hands-on creative work

Availability for part-time hours, including a rotational Saturday shift

Preferred, But Not Essential:

Embroidery or garment decoration experience would be helpful, however we’ll train the right person (we value attitude and willingness to learn over years of experience)

Driver’s license and reliable transport

Knowledge of workwear and safety gear would be a plus
