Senior HVAC Estimator – Adelaide

We are representing a market-leading HVAC contractor with a strong reputation for delivering some of Australia’s most complex and high-value building services projects. With decades of experience, they have become a trusted partner across the commercial, healthcare, education, retail, and data centre sectors, consistently delivering projects that set the benchmark in quality and performance.

As part of their continued growth in Adelaide, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior HVAC Estimator to join their dynamic pre-construction team and contribute to the successful delivery of major projects ranging from $5–$20 million.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for HVAC projects including labour, materials, subcontractors, and equipment.
• Develop and submit competitive bids in line with project specifications and compliance requirements.
• Manage budgets, forecasting, and cost control throughout the tendering process.
• Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure robust and competitive pricing.
• Identify risks and value engineering opportunities to enhance project outcomes.
• Maintain detailed and organised documentation throughout the estimating process.

About You:

• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in HVAC estimating, ideally within design & construct (D&C) projects.
• Proven success tendering on projects valued $10M+.
• Strong technical understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to read and interpret complex design documentation.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with confidence in building relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Highly organised, with a focus on accuracy, detail, and meeting deadlines.
