CVGT Employment is entering an exciting new chapter with the launch of the Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) program - an evolution in how we support people with disability, injury, or health conditions to find meaningful, sustainable work. As part of this transformation, we’re hiring across multiple roles and locations to build a passionate team ready to make a real difference.

About Us

At CVGT Employment, we believe meaningful work transforms lives. Since 1983, we’ve been connecting people to opportunity, supporting businesses with capable talent, and strengthening the communities we serve. As a not-for-profit, for-purpose organisation with a presence across Victoria, New South Wales, and Tasmania, we’re proud to champion inclusive employment pathways.

Eureka ESA

This role operates with the Eureka Employment Services Area (ESA), which includes Ballarat and Ararat and provides outreach support to surrounding communities such as Sebastopol, Beaufort, Creswick, and Daylesford.

What You’ll Do

As a Work Support Mentor in the IEA program, you’ll play a key role in helping participants with disability, injury, or health conditions thrive in their new roles. You’ll provide tailored post-placement support, build strong relationships with employers, and provide practical, on-the-job assistance that promotes confidence, independence, and long-term success.

  • Support Participant Success: Provide ongoing mentoring and regular check-ins to help participants maintain employment and grow in their roles.
  • Strengthen Employer Partnerships: Collaborate with employers to identify workplace needs and deliver practical, on-the-job support that benefits both participants and businesses.
  • Deliver Practical Solutions: Assist participants with workplace training, upskilling, and adjustments to promote independence and job sustainability.
  • Monitor Progress: Track employment milestones and outcomes to ensure participants remain supported and on course for long-term success.
  • Program Compliance: Manage accurate documentation, wage subsidies, and reporting requirements in line with program guidelines and performance goals.

What You Bring

  • Relevant Background: A Certificate or Diploma in Community or Employment Services (or related field) or lived experience navigating support systems to achieve education or employment outcomes is highly regarded.
  • Person-Centred Approach: Experience delivering respectful, tailored support that builds on individual strengths and promotes independence.
  • Compassionate Practice: Skilled in building trust and providing empathic, practical support while maintaining professionalism and achieving results.
  • Tech Savvy: Confident with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and digital tools.
  • Pre-Requisites: Full eligibility to work in Australia, with the ability to travel locally and obtain a National Police Check, Working with Children Check, and/or Vulnerable Persons Check.
