CVGT Employment is entering an exciting new chapter with the launch of the Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) program - an evolution in how we support people with disability, injury, or health conditions to find meaningful, sustainable work. As part of this transformation, we’re hiring across multiple roles and locations to build a passionate team ready to make a real difference.

We welcome applications from candidates seeking either full time or part time work arrangements.

About Us

At CVGT Employment, we believe meaningful work transforms lives. Since 1983, we’ve been connecting people to opportunity, supporting businesses with capable talent, and strengthening the communities we serve. As a not-for-profit, for-purpose organisation with a presence across Victoria, New South Wales, and Tasmania, we’re proud to champion inclusive employment pathways.

Peninsula ESA

This role operates within the Peninsula Employment Services Area (ESA), which includes Frankston, Rosebud, and surrounding coastal and inland communities across the Mornington Peninsula.

What You’ll Do

As an Employer Engagement Specialist in the IEA program, you’ll be the vital link between job-ready participants and the labour market. You’ll build strategic relationships with employers and community partners to uncover meaningful job opportunities. Through proactive engagement and a deep understanding of local workforce needs, you’ll help individuals with disability, injury, or health conditions access sustainable employment, shaping inclusive futures and strengthening communities.

  • Drive Inclusive Employment: Lead employer engagement strategies and build strong partnerships with businesses and community organisations to create meaningful job opportunities.
  • Deliver Employment Outcomes: Use targeted reverse marketing and business development strategies to convert opportunities into sustainable placements.
  • Support Participant Success: Collaborate with internal teams to match participants to meaningful roles using a strength-based, person-centred approach.
  • Program Compliance: Maintain accurate records and uphold compliance standards to support high-quality contract-aligned outcomes and performance goals.

What You Bring

  • Relevant Background: A Certificate or Diploma in Community or Employment Services (or related field) or lived experience navigating support systems to achieve education or employment outcomes is highly regarded.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Proven success in developing relationships with employers, community organisations, and government agencies to promote inclusive hiring and expand employment opportunities.
  • Strategic Insight: Ability to design and deliver initiatives that respond to local labour market needs and drive sustainable, inclusive employment outcomes.
  • Tech Savvy: Confident with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and digital tools.
  • Pre-Requisites: Full eligibility to work in Australia, with the ability to travel locally and obtain a National Police Check, Working with Children Check, and/or Vulnerable Persons Check.
