Your role at St John of God Frankston Hospital
We are looking for Grade 2/3 Physiotherapist for our Exercise Rehabilitation Unit, ideally you will have clinical experience working with a Neurological case load.
You will work alongside the Multi-disciplinary team to provide clinical physiotherapy services to clients using advanced evidence based practice skills.
The Position
- Provides clinical services to client groups and circumstances of a complex nature requiring advanced practice skills.
- Use of Evidence Based Patient treatment outcome measures and use of Patient feedback - satisfaction measures and quality assurance activities.
- Ensure prioritisation and delegation of duties of Physiotherapy caseloads for self and supervised staff.
- Promotes professional values and ethics in clinical practice.
- Demonstrates consolidated, current knowledge of research, evidence based practice in Physiotherapy and related clinical areas.
- Acts as a clinical consultant for the discipline and within the specialty
- Document in the patient/clients healthcare record in accordance with the SJGHC policies and procedure.
- Maintain statistical data in accordance with departmental and professional clinical guidelines.
- Provide high quality evidence based senior Physiotherapy services to patients/clients within the clinical specialty area/s including hydrotherapy where applicable.
- Provide physiotherapy assessment, intervention and evaluation at a senior practice level for complex and general caseload/s.
- Ensure that direct working relationships are established and maintained with colleagues and internal/external customers.
- Use of Evidence Based Patient treatment outcome measures and use of Patient feedback - satisfaction measures and quality assurance activities
- Ensure prioritisation and delegation of duties of Physiotherapy caseloads for self and supervised staff.
- Participate in evidence based clinical research activities, where applicable
You will Current registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia (AHPRA) and demonstrate advanced clinical experience and leadership in a highly specialised area of clinical practice within a healthcare setting.
To succeed, you will demonstrate experience in the initiation, design and implementation of research and quality improvement activities. You will have recent experience in Physiotherapy services in relevant clinical settings including the provision of hydrotherapy treatments.

- Grade 3 Salary: $132,042 to $132,042 (pro rata basis for part time), plus 12 % superannuation
- Grade 2 Salary: $95,432 to $114,129 (pro rata basis for part time) plus 12% superannuation
- Fixed term full time position available from August 25 to Aug 26 (covering maternity break)
