About the Role

We have an opportunity for a casual Kitchen Hand to join our friendly team in a commercial kitchen located in the Adelaide CBD.

This position has the following main responsibilities:

Cleaning and sanitising equipment and utensils

HACCP recording

Assisting with the preparation of vegetables

Perform general back of house duties including cleaning, re-stocking, organising, packing away orders, washing etc.

Maintaining full adherence to Food Safety and WHS requirements

Successful candidates will be experienced working in a fast-paced team focused commercial kitchen and it is essential you also have:

Proven experience in back of house operations, demonstrated use of a commercial dishwasher, receiving and putting away deliveries, and basic cleaning skills

An eagerness to learn and are able to work under pressure

A high level of personal presentation and communication skills

The ability to prioritise and manage tasks

A current Food Hygiene and Handling Certificate

Experience in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic work environment and the ability to follow instructions

Preferred: A minimum of 6 months experience

This is a Casual Position for a start date of Monday 8 September 2025.

We pay in relation to experience according to the Award, with all penalties, such as overtime, weekend and public rates strictly adhered to.

This position is casual with shifts Monday to Friday.

20 – 25 hours available per week.
