Truck and dog drivers civil operators

CQ Construction & Civil is seeking experienced and skilled Truck Drivers and Civil Operators to join our team in Mackay, Queensland. As a full-time employee, you will play a vital role in the successful delivery of our construction and civil engineering projects in the local area.

What you'll be doing

Operating various heavy plant and machinery, such as trucks and excavators, to complete construction tasks

Safely transporting materials, equipment, and personnel to and from job sites

Performing routine maintenance and inspections on all vehicles and equipment

Working collaboratively with the wider construction team to ensure project milestones are met

Adhering to all relevant safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment

What we're looking for

Minimum 4 years' experience in a similar construction or civil operations role

Relevant licences and certifications, such as a HR, HC, MC driver's licence, Construction Induction (White Card), and tickets for operating specific machinery, rollers, skid steer, graders and excavators

Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to adapt to changing site conditions

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to coordinate with other trades and project stakeholders

A commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality in all work tasks
