About the role

Basalt Building Approvals is seeking a motivated cadet to join our practice in Bundaberg. This full-time role offers a structured pathway into the building certification profession, with clear pay progression linked to successful completion of units of study. You will gain practical experience in a range of building certification and building surveying functions, including site inspections.

What we're looking for

Interest in the construction industry and willingness to develop specialist knowledge in building compliance;

Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills;

Good written and verbal communication;

Commitment to relevant ongoing study (or intention to enrol in a Building Surveying Degree).
