ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are currently seeking candidates for a Tobacconist/Golden Casket Retail Sales Assistant position in Ooralea Mackay, QLD on a part-time basis. The shifts will vary and may include days, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

To be successful in joining our team, you will need previous retail experience (Golden Casket trained) and a strong focus on customer service. You must also be adaptable, motivated, and enthusiastic with a drive to exceed sales targets.

SUPPORT:

You will not be alone. As part of your induction, you will be provided with two weeks of on-the-job training with a senior team member and ongoing support to achieve store expectations. Career progression opportunities within the business are also available and encouraged.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities of the Role:

Customer service and product sales

Meeting store sales expectations

Weekly stock counts

Maintaining high standards of visual merchandising to maximise sales

Stock management

Working effectively in a fast-paced environment

Preparing and submitting daily end-of-day reports and banking

Product ordering as required

Honest and customer-focused daily trading

Golden Casket trained
