We are seeking an experienced Field-Based Drilling Supervisor to lead daily rig operations across WA. This is a permanent FIFO role on a 2/2 roster ex Perth. It offers stability, career development, and the chance to work with Tier One clients on diverse, large-scale projects.

Our client has been operating since 2015 and is a specialist provider of hydrogeological drilling and test pumping services. They support mining, agriculture, and municipal sectors, delivering tailored drilling solutions that range from groundwater monitoring and production bores through to underground service and paste fill holes, angled drilling, aquifer recharge, and environmental stygofauna projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily drilling operations, managing crews, equipment, and client expectations
• Provide progress updates to Project Leaders and ensure programs are delivered safely and on schedule
• Drive a culture of safety through detailed risk assessments, control verifications, and leading incident investigations
• Coach and mentor crew members, conducting performance reviews and supporting development pathways
• Partner with maintenance teams to keep rigs and equipment compliant, safe, and operational
• Represent the business in contractor safety meetings, sharing best practice and driving improvement
• Uphold company policies and procedures to maintain compliance and operational excellence

About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring both strong technical knowledge and proven leadership. You will need:

• Extensive supervisory experience in drilling operations (essential)
• Cert IV in Drilling Operations (essential)
• Water Well Licence and HR Licence (essential)
• Proven ability to lead teams effectively while building strong client relationships
• Clear communication skills and a commitment to safe, efficient operations
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening and provide a current National Police Clearance
