Busy seafood cafe located on the stunning waterfront in Sandgate requires an experienced Cook / Chef for deep fryer, grill and food preparation work in a fun and relaxed environment.
We pay above award wages, including higher penalty rates on weekends and public holidays. We close at 8pm so no more late nights! Complimentary meal on 8 hour shifts, close to public transport, free parking and 20 - 38 hours per week. The availability to work evenings and weekends is essential.
We are looking for a team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic who can work under pressure in a fast-paced environment as part of an awesome team! This is a casual role with an immediate start and experience on deep fryers is an advantage.
Applicants should possess the following skills and experience:
- Experience with deep fryers or grill
- Understanding and knowledge of food safety standards
- Work to the clock for meeting customer order expectations
- Deliver food preparation within set timeframes
