WorkPac is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Emergency Services Officer (ESO) for a short-term contract at Yarrabee Mine, located near Blackwater in Central Queensland. This is a Drive-In Drive-Out (DIDO) role with all meals and accommodation provided on site.

Assignment Details:

Location: Yarrabee Mine (near Blackwater, QLD)

Dates: Ongoing

Shifts: 12-hour shifts – day and night

Roster: Casual contract with opportunity for future ongoing work

Travel: DIDO – travel time not paid

Meals and accommodation provided on site

Pay: Above award flat rates + overtime/callout where applicable

What You Will Need:

Coal Board Medical (Section 4) for Emergency Responder roles (must be current)

Standard 11 – Surface Induction

Certificate III in Mines Rescue or higher

HLTPAT005 – Collect specimens for drug testing

RIIVEH201E – Operate a light vehicle on mine sites

PUAEME005A – Administer emergency first aid medications

Minimum 12 months experience working in the mining industry

Duties Will Include:

Provide onsite emergency medical response

Assist the Emergency Response Team (ERT)

Operate the site ambulance and fire truck

Conduct drug and alcohol testing

Support inductions, emergency drills, and safety procedures

Perform gatehouse and security duties as required
