About the role
You will be creatively planning, promoting and delivering high quality events for our participants and team members. You will also support to successfully promote Comlink Australia as a national brand. Each day will be a little different, we aim to provide fun – not only for our clients but for you too!
What will this look like on a day-to-day basis?
You will be:
Planning participant and employee events, including researching and booking venues, activities and catering
Ensuring risk assessments have been completed and quality aspects have been considered
Supporting the creation and distribution of monthly event calendars
Working closely with our Scheduling and Customer Support teams to establish events, coordinate changes and update pricing
Supporting with delivering events (including setting up / packing down) and providing a high-quality participant service
Ensuring cost management in line with approved budgets
Seeking partnerships with like-minded businesses and community groups, to promote Comlink Australia
Undertake administrative tasks including, but not limited to maintaining RSVP lists, collating data, event analysis and reporting
Seeking, responding to and actioning client feedback
Ensuring that services are accessible and culturally sensitive to diverse participant needs
Other things you might like to know
6-month contract with a possibility to extend
Part time position (4 days / 30.4hrs per week)
You may be required to use your private vehicle for work purposes, with kilometre-reimbursement offered
Paid compliance checks including NDIS Worker Screening
What skills and experience do you need to be a Lifestyle Coordinator?
Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional administrative support with high attention to detail and accuracy
Demonstrated ability to effectively research and analyse information
Cert III qualification in Business Administration, Finance, Community Services or relevant qualification and/or experience
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, and is highly organised, efficient with exceptional time management skills
Desirable:
Experience in the Aged Care Sector;
Understanding of, and willingness to develop an appreciation of, specialised service delivery within diverse groups, specifically Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, CALD, Veterans, Disability, Mental Health, LGBTI+ and Homelessnes; and
Highly developed interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence with demonstrated excellence in developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders .
