About the role

Bowen Flexi Care is seeking passionate and dedicated Lifestyle Support Workers to join our team in Bowen, Queensland. This is a casual role that will provide essential support services to help NDIS participants live fulfilling and independent lives.

What you'll be doing

Assist participants with a wide range of daily living activities, including personal care, domestic tasks, and social and recreational pursuits

Follow implemented personalised support plans to meet the unique needs and goals of each participant

Promote participant independence, choice, and inclusion in the community

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless and coordinated care

Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with organisational policies and procedures

Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment

What we're looking for

A Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Disability Support, or a related field

Demonstrated experience in providing person-centred care and support

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with participants

Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of our participants

A genuine passion for making a positive difference in the lives of others

A current driver's licence and reliable transportation

Currently hold NDIS Workers screening card/ WWC(Working with Children) card or ability to obtain one

Currently hold CPR/First aid or ability to gain
