We are seeking an experienced Automotive Electrician to join our team in our busy workshop location in Geelong with an immediate start for the successful person.

We are a busy Automotive workshop in the South West Region located in Geelong. We have a wide customer base in the automotive passenger and commercial trucking industries. The ideal applicant will be required to work on all types of passenger vehicles &/or trucks.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

Diagnose and repair electrical faults in vehicles, trucks and machines

Fit electrical accessories

Update the service adviser on job progress

Carry out onsite work as required

Assist other team members as required

Assist in the training of apprentices

Undertake training and keep abreast of industry trends

The successful applicant must:

Have great problem solving and decision making skills

Be clean, well presented and punctual at all times

Have good communication skills

Be motivated and have a willingness to continue to learn and improve

Current driver’s license

Supply and maintain own tool box and hand tools

Be able to perform physical tasks including bending, heavy lifting and carrying, manual labour and use of hand tools

Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.

This is a full time permanent position. We have various shift options available I.e. Day, Midday & Evening shifts. You will be rewarded with above award rates. Excellent wage package to the right applicant, negotiable on experience.
