Brissie Auto Electrics is a family-owned business servicing the Greater Brisbane area. We are currently a fully mobile service provider, but we're excited to be expanding into a workshop in the next 6 months. We are looking for a skilled and reliable Auto Electrician to join our growing team.

Job Overview:

Position: Auto Electrician (Field Repairs & Maintenance)

Location: Greater Brisbane Area (Currently mobile, transitioning to a workshop in 6 months)

Servicing: Light Vehicles, Prime Movers, Heavy Plant & Machinery

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $45 - $50 per hour + Super (depending on experience)

Hours: Minimum 40 hours per week + Overtime

Benefits: Work vehicle, work phone and clothing provided

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair electrical issues on a wide range of light vehicles, heavy haulage, and plant machinery.

Install electrical accessories and equipment on vehicles and machinery.

Perform preventative maintenance checks and repairs on electrical components.

Connect power-operated vehicle equipment and accessories to power supplies.

Adjust engine control systems and timing.

Test, repair, and replace alternators, generators, voltage regulators, and starter motors.

Complete all necessary paperwork for repairs and services as required.

What We’re Looking For:

Qualifications: Fully qualified Auto Electrician with relevant Trade Qualification and air-conditioning ticket.

Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not mandatory.

License: Current Australian Driver's License (HR preferred).
