Hourly Rate $49/hr

We are currently seeking a qualified Boilermaker/Welder/Fabricator to join our Heavy Commercial Vehicle Maintenance Department based in Tully, North Queensland.

You will be assisting with the repair and maintenance of an extensive fleet of modern Prime Movers, Refrigerated Trailers and Ancillary Equipment.

The key tasks will include:

Maintaining rollback A-Trailers

Welding divits

Repairing landing legs

Repairing chassis crossmembers and all general chassis repairs

Replace, rekit and machining rollers/bearings

Metal fabrication

Assist heavy vehicle mechanics with day to day duties

Any other welding repairs required in a heavy vehicle workshop

The applicant will have:

Qualifications as a boilermaker

Willingness to learn and ability to adapt to new concepts quickly.

Ability to communicate effectively and interact within a multi-skilled work environment.

Possess a drive to work safely and maintain the safety of those around them.

Have own transport

Requirements :

Trade Certificate (Boilermaker/Fabricator/Welder)
