Description:
Oil Baron Supply is seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Warehouse Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will manage the daily operations of the warehouse, including inventory control, order fulfillment, and coordination with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient workflows. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for the receipting and despatching of goods, checking against purchase orders, checking and matching material certifications to Oil Baron & ISO 9001 quality standards.
Conduct regular stock checks to ensure inventory accuracy and report any discrepancies.
Maintain organised and efficient storage areas to facilitate quick order picking and packing.
Follow proper handling and storage procedures for all products, especially hazardous or sensitive materials.
Ensure timely and accurate dispatch of orders, coordinating with courier and transport services.
Assist in maintaining warehouse equipment and report any maintenance or repair needs.
Participate in regular safety and compliance checks to ensure a safe working environment.
Support the implementation of inventory management systems and procedures.
Contribute to a clean and tidy warehouse, adhering to housekeeping standards.
Duties for this position are vast and varied, and the successful applicant will be required to perform these duties and others as requested or required on a daily basis.
Key Requirements:
The successful applicant will ideally have experience working in a fast-paced environment and will be results orientated and enthusiastic. You will also possess:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment. Industry experience is highly regarded.
Valid forklift license and driver's license required.
Strong organisational skills with experience in inventory management and stock control.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.
Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
Basic Microsoft Office Skills – Outlook and Excel
