A life of participation, opportunity, and choice.
We believe at the core of who we are and what’s important to us, is our people. Generous, caring, compassionate, and resilient, they embody what we do every day. A team that never stops learning or striving to make tomorrow even better than today. With us, you’ll be supported by leaders who understand and care about your journey in our organisation, in our community and beyond.
Education is the most powerful tool which can be used to change the world for the better – that is why our teachers are one of our most vital resources, capable of helping our students to shape the potential of their futures right from the beginning. Our P-12 independent schools are built on a strong foundation of specialist teachers and allied health professionals who work in a collaborative, supporting environment to provide quality, focused education to classes of up to 6-8 autistic students.
“What keeps me coming back is knowing that I’ve helped somebody on their journey in life. It’s rewarding to see the change you can make not only to the individual, but also the family that supports them.”
We currently have an opportunity at our Edmonton (Cairns) campus for a Primary School Teacher (Prep - Year 6) who is looking for a part time role (Monday-Tuesday) starting the beginning of Term 4 2025.
We encourage applications from those teachers who shares our genuine passion in supporting our students, is equipped with a tertiary qualification in Education/Special Education and holds a current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers.
Utilising functional skills and assessments, this role requires our teachers to provide personalized learning to students with neurodiverse affirming practices and principles across a range of environments. There will be a focus on enhancing the wellbeing and holistic growth of young people through the development of supportive learning environments, quality communication and effective classroom management. Working collaboratively with the mainstream schools of our part-time students, we ensure that our goals and strengths-based learning is supported across all environments.
