Residential Care Support Worker
MASP
Posted 7 days ago
MASP is located in Mildura, Victoria.
We're a provider of residential care, which supports children and young people who are unable to live with their families, often due to abuse and trauma.
We're recruiting a number of committed and passionate people in a casual capacity who enjoy working with youth who may display challenging behaviours, as a result of their complex trauma background.
All applicants must be willing to work as part of a team environment, have compassion and empathy and apply attachment and trauma frameworks to their work. These vacancies will suit people who are qualified, currently studying or considering studying a Cert IV or Diploma Community Services or equivalent, or a social work degree or equivalent.
Residential Care Support Workers are employed in MASP's residential care facilities and work directly with vulnerable children and young people. As well as undertaking normal household duties (such as cooking and cleaning), the Residential Care Support Workers develop constructive relationships with the clients and are required to work flexible, rostered hours.
Expected commencing salary of $44.5259 to $49.7697 per hour (depending on qualification) plus statutory superannuation. Because MASP is a non-profit organisation, you also have the option to maximise your income through salary packaging.
