We Care NSW is seeking an engaging, professional administrator/receptionist to join us at our Maitland Allied Health offices.

We Care NSW is a fast growing non-for-profit organisation committed to supporting people living with a disability, children and young people in meeting their individual goals. We are a leading provider of specialist Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal Allied Health, disability and out of home care services in the Maitland, Newcastle and greater Hunter region. We provide services for children, young people and adults.

About the role

Reporting to the Allied Health Team Leader, you will act as the first point of contact for clients, carry out reception duties, accounting/billing functions, data entry and auditing and general administration tasks for the practice.

You will be supporting our Allied Health team through your sensitive, personable approach, engaging with clients, processing appointments and handling enquiries to welcome clients to our service and ensure a positive ongoing relationship. As well as your dedication and efficiency in completing administrative and accounting tasks.

Our Ideal Candidate (Selection Criteria):

Certificate III in Business Administration or related area and/or previous experience working in general administration/reception.

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

Demonstrated ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with a broad range of individuals.

Understanding of and adherence to confidentiality principles.

Attention to detail in record keeping, data entry and client management/appointment scheduling.

High level computer skills including well developed capability in the use of Microsoft Office applications.

Ability to effectively multi-task, manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

Current clear NSW Working with Children Check.

Current National Criminal Record check.
