About the role

Are you a skilled Maintenance Fitter -Site Services looking for a new challenge? Wolfram Limited is seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our team at Mt Carlton Mine, QLD. This is a full-time 8/6 DIDO role that will see you playing a vital part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our facilities.

What you'll be doing

Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance on site infrastructure including:

Reverse Osmosis (RO) Plant - Training Provided

Sewage Treatment (STP) Plant - Training Provided

Diesel gensets, small engines - Basic Servicing

Dewatering systems and water supply equipment

Carry out routine inspections of site infrastructure, plant and equipment

Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues, and implement appropriate solutions

Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities and spare parts usage

Liaise with other teams to minimise disruption and ensure optimal performance

Support the continuous improvement of maintenance processes and procedures

What we're looking for

Formal trade qualifications as a Fitter and Turner or Mechanical Fitter

DIDO Role - Requires residence in Townsville, Cairns, Ayr, Bowen or within this locale

Extensive experience (5+ years) in a similar mining maintenance role

High Risk Work Licenses (FL, WP, etc)

Experience in water and waste treatment systems - Desirable

Experience with Pronto - Desirable

A laser focus on safety and a proactive approach to risk management

Excellent fault-finding and problem solving skills

Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings

Excellent communication and teamwork skills
