Join a fast-paced, dynamic financial services organisation as a Fraud & Financial Crime Analyst, where you’ll play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing compliance frameworks across AML/CTF, financial crime, privacy, and regulatory obligations under Australian law.

About the Role

This role reports directly to the Board of Directors and operates under the guidance of both local and global compliance leadership. You will be responsible for executing the compliance strategy, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements, and helping shape the ongoing compliance culture.

Salary: $120K + super

Location: Sydney CBD

5 days a week in the office with flexible working

Key Responsibilities

Act as the designated AML Compliance Officer under the company’s AML/CTF Program.

Ensure full compliance with AFS licence obligations.

Provide regular formal reporting to the Board.

Develop, maintain, and enhance compliance policies, frameworks, and control procedures.

Lead AUSTRAC IFTI reporting and other regulatory reporting obligations.

Manage relationships with key regulators including AUSTRAC and ASIC.

Conduct compliance risk assessments, including AML, financial crime, and sanctions.

Lead training initiatives for AML/CTF and compliance across the business.

Oversee regulatory examinations, audits, and due diligence processes.

Skills & Experience

Proven experience in compliance within financial services, banking, or payment systems.

Previous interaction with AUSTRAC, ASIC, or the Reserve Bank.
