TRADES ASSISTANTS -

Availability required from 8th September – 24th October 2025

About the opportunity:

Join our team of Boilermakers and Welders for a Gas Turbine/HRSG shutdown at Alcoa Pinjarra.

Details:

• Shutdown start date: 8th September 2025

• Approx. 6-week shutdown

• Maximum 60 hours per week – 10-hour shifts, 6 days per week

• Weekly pay - Casual rates payable (+ Overtime ) +Travel Allowance / Site Allowance / Superannuation / Long Service Leave (payable to MyLeave)

• Potential for ongoing work after the shutdown - Pinjarra, Wagerup, Kwinana

Duties include:

• Helping tradesman when needed

• Fire watch

• Confined space century

• Operating power & hand tools

• Complete non-trade task when needed

Mandatory Requirements:

• Confined Space Training

• Ability to pass drug & alcohol screening

• Valid WA Driver’s License

• Alcoa Induction desirable but not essential.

• Full availability from 8th September – 24th October
