The Department of Treasury and Finance is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Cyber Security Officer to join its Information and Communication Technology (ICT) team in an ongoing role.

ASO5 ($85,790 to $95,413 p.a)
About the Opportunity:
The Senior Cyber Security Officer role within the Department of Treasury and Finance (DTF) plays a crucial part in the department's transformation and modernisation efforts, leveraging digital technologies to reshape operations and work processes. As part of this initiative, the department is establishing an internal Centre of Excellence (CoE) for digital services, aiming to enhance the existing Information and Technology (I&T) branch's role as a high-quality enabler for the broader business.
The Senior Cyber Security Officer will assist with the development of an ongoing improvement program that drives digital service enhancement through the introduction of new processes, tools, and ways of working. This role reports to the Cyber, Risk and Assurance Lead and works closely with key stakeholders, including the Director Digital Delivery, Chief Information Officer, I&T staff across DTF, and external digital partners.
