Role: Cyber Security Architect / Advisor (12-Month Contract)
Location: Adelaide CBD – 3 days in office / 2 days WFH
Start: ASAP
Rate: $1000-$1230 per day

We’re seeking an experienced Cyber Security Architect / Advisor for a 12-month engagement supporting a major critical infrastructure organisation. This is a full-time consulting role, providing strategic and technical guidance across multiple security projects.

Key Focus
Your primary focus will be on Data Loss Prevention (DLP) - leveraging your prior project experience to design, advise, and guide security outcomes. Alongside this, you’ll contribute to broader cyber initiatives, particularly in an Azure environment and projects such as SASE and other strategic security programs.

What You’ll Do

• Provide architectural guidance and advisory services across multiple projects at any one time, with the flexibility to pivot between initiatives as priorities shift.
• Lead and advise on Data Loss Prevention strategy, policy, and implementation approaches.
• Offer expert input into network security and general cyber security best practices (no hands-on configuration required).
• Advise on cloud security initiatives within Azure.
• Collaborate closely with project teams to align security measures with business objectives.
• Act as a trusted partner to the Cyber Security Manager and work alongside 3-5 other Security Advisors.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience delivering Data Loss Prevention projects in complex environments.
• Strong generalist cyber security knowledge, particularly in networking principles.
• Exposure to Azure cloud security and related project consulting.
• Experience with SASE or similar security architecture projects.
• Ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Mid–Senior level security advisory skills, with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
